GREENSCAN 3D PRODUCTS
SNAPSHOT
Pay for 3D Modeling later, but capture your greens now!
"Design Creep" from topdressing and thatch accumulation will change your putting surfaces over time. At some point you will need to rebuild your greens. With a "SNAPSHOT" (Raw Data) of your current design, it can be preserved, modified, or replicated over and over. Accurate and precise data collection now will prove invaluable later.
PINSHUFFLE
3D Modeling and analysis to derive all putt-able cup locations.
Puttable pin positions are identified for a certain green speed, then arranged on a grid aligned with direction of play. Each position is assigned a day of the month. Cup cutter, and cart personnel will always know where the cup goes and what pin sheet to use without having to communicate each day. No internet connection, subscription fees, or repeated printing of pin sheets with the same locations over and over is necessary.
Deliverables include:
- Color shading pin-able areas only.
- All putt-able pin locations aligned on three foot grid.
- Putting surface boundary line.
- Four sprinkler head reference points.
- Two permanent reference control points.
THE GREENS BOOK

Laminated, pocket sized, Colorized Slope Analysis Maps for caddies and players. These maps combined with the Aimpoint AimChart take the guesswork out of green reading. Slope arrows and color shading define direction and percentage of slope with survey grade accuracy.

As-built drawings of the current conditions are the starting point when remodeling. We produce the best Contour and Slope analysis maps available. Many Architects simply mark up these as-builts with their ideas, then modify during construction.
3D COMPUTER MODELING
Eliminate the guesswork when tweaking or restoring your greens.
If you are restoring, you can use the "original" computer surface for grade control. If you are "Tweaking" we can edit the 3D Model to reduce or enhance features, depending on goals of the Architect. Computer slope reduction is a great tool for older courses with fast greens.
PUTT SIMULATION
We won an Emmy for our help in developing the Aimpoint Putting Line.
Our Computer Models were the backbone of all the Golf Channel Aimpoint Solutions. Aimpoint software can tell you in advance, how much all the putts will break on a green at a given speed. This is an invaluable resource when dealing with fast and severe surfaces. If you want to ride the edge of playability, this is the only way to go.
GRADE CONTROL
Automatic Survey Grade cut-fill information for "Stake-less Grading".
Eight of the top ten courses in the USA have used our stake-less grading method to convert their existing greens to USGA specifications. No guess work is necessary when you have cut-fill information on every square foot of a putting surface. Before, during, and after scans document accuracy of the replicated surface.
